In the framework of the R.I.S.To.VET project (2019-1-PL01-KA202-065682), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, and implemented by an internation consortium gathering six organisations coming from five different countries and – specifically – WSBINOZ – WYZSZA SZKOLA BIZNESU I NAUK O ZDROWIU (Poland), VVTA – Living Stone Dialoog, ViaVia Tourism Academy (Belgium), ILI – FRIEDRICH-ALEXANDER-UNIVERSITAET ERLANGEN NUERNBERG (Germany), Co.Net – COWORKING E NETWORKING SICILIA APS (Italy), Ergasia Ekpaideftiki Anonymi Etaria (Greece) and CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development (Italy), project managers from CEIPES went to Caltanissetta to meet students from I.T.E.T. Rapisardi – Da Vinci, a VET institute providing also a curricula on tourism.

The implementation of the second Intellectual Output – namely, a training path comprising all the topics addressed by the project, such as digital tourism, authenticity, experiential tourism, etc. including also sections on the development of soft skills, which are helpful to deal with tourists but also in everyday life – contains a testing phase to learn about the effectiveness of the proposed contents and their appreciation from project beneficiaries.

During the day, students and teachers had the opportunity to discover the Erasmus+ Programme and the opportunities related from it, as well as the project objectives, aims and results. General reactions from the participants involved into this activity showed the importance of the project results to improve national curricula, providing beneficiaries the necessary knowledge to face the challenges of the contemporary touristic fields; furthermore, enthusiasm on project activities has been proven since it has been raised interest on the cycle of webinars which is going to be held until the 7th of June 2022.
